Read about our monitoring arrangements for the coming winter.

Following a comprehensive procurement process we are very pleased to announce that monitoring requirements for winter 2018/19 have been commissioned as follows:

a)    Car park counts and vantage point watches - Footprint Ecology. An environmental consultancy located in Dorset who understands our objectives and we are pleased to be working with them again.

b)    Disturbance levels at rangered sites - Waterman Infrastructure and Environment is a well-established UK based consultancy firm with expertise in many sectors including marine, energy and regeneration.

c)    Second tranche of Access Management Assessments - Footprint Ecology

Additionally, the Monitoring Group are putting together a spec for a bespoke low water level bird count to take place over the coming winter.  Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust are leading on organising this work through volunteer contacts and a chartered boat.
